Thank you to my awesome friends and neighbors in Hooper03! Last night was an incredible experience. Jake Shulz did a great job running the standing-room only meeting with over 90 people in attendance. The energy in the air was palpable. Jake asked how many people were attending their first caucus meeting. Well over half of the attendees raised their hands. I have heard and read similar accounts from all over the state with record attendance and a flood of folks getting involved for the first time. People are waking up! The best part was seeing so many people that had never been involved before “catch the bug” and realize that they CAN make a difference!
I am thankful for the chance to represent my precinct as chair, and am excited to work with Keith Cordon as vice chair, Shawn Beus as secretary, and Jake Shulz as treasurer. There were several people nominated for delegate positions, and the precinct had a LOT of great candidates to choose from. Congratulations to those elected to represent their neighbors.
